As I turn 40 and am finally settled into a happy married home life, I think back over all those years.2008, age 39, was my second year married and at times I still felt young . . .... but at other times it was kind of confusing.2007, age 38 I was adjusting to marriage and needed a lot of advice. Mom tried to draw me a picture.Donna shared her years of experience . . . and laughed a lot.And Adam, the youngest male of the family, offered his perspective.2006, age 37 was the year I finally tied the knot. There was a lot of preparation, mostly by Debbie.I called on my advisors in choosing my apparel. At my stag party I showed them I still had it.Finally the wedding day. Donna reads her prenups emphasizing that under no circumstances will she take me back. And it was a wonderful wedding! I had a blast.2005, age 36, was the year I made the big decision. I consulted inanimate objects. And took long walks in the wood asking wondering what my heros would do.But a friend's wedding convinced me it was time; and I look really good in a tux.So we finally announced the date to the family. There was a great rejoicing.2004, age 35, I was still single and carefree. With no obligations there was time for solitude.Things were going well at Lego.
